Product Details

The Earl's Performance 961961ERL power steering pump adapter extension is an essential component when converting Corvette-style power steering pumps to use AN fittings. This adapter solves a common clearance problem that occurs when replacing factory hard lines with AN plumbing.

Key Features:

  • Designed specifically for Corvette-style power steering pumps with AN fittings
  • Extended length design moves the hose end away from the pulley to prevent interference
  • Eliminates clearance issues between AN hose ends and the pump pulley
  • Enables use of AN plumbing systems on pumps originally designed for OE hard lines
  • Precision-engineered to Earl's Performance quality standards

This adapter extension is required because the factory pump and pulley assembly was designed to work with original equipment hard lines. When upgrading to AN plumbing, the hose ends can interfere with pulley rotation. Earl's solved this problem by adding length to the adapter, providing the necessary clearance for safe operation.
