• Complete Ring Set — includes compression rings and oil control rings for all cylinders in the engine application
• OEM-Grade Materials — engineered with premium steel and cast iron alloys with precision coatings for durability and performance
• Precision Tolerances — manufactured to tight dimensional specs ensuring proper end gap, radial depth, and axial height
• Low Friction Design — ring face profiles optimized to minimize friction and oil consumption while maximizing compression seal
• Thermal Stability — coatings and materials selected to withstand high combustion temperatures and pressures

MAHLE piston ring sets are a trusted choice for engine rebuilds, overhaul kits, and performance restorations. The 42258CP.020 is the correct ring set when cylinder bores have been machined +0.020" over the standard bore diameter, restoring proper compression and oil control to the engine.
