Product Details

The Stabilus 41-62-6-801-258 is a gas pressurized hatch lift support designed to provide reliable lifting and lowering assistance for rear hatch applications. This OEM-quality gas spring delivers consistent performance and proper holding force to keep your hatch open safely and securely.

Key Features:

  • Gas pressurized design for smooth, controlled motion
  • OEM-quality construction from Stabilus, a leading manufacturer of motion control products
  • Direct replacement for worn or failed factory lift supports
  • Easy installation with simple clip-style end fittings
  • Durable steel construction with corrosion-resistant finish

This lift support restores proper hatch operation, eliminating the frustration of a hatch that won't stay open. Stabilus gas springs are hydropneumatic adjustable elements consisting of a pressure tube, piston rod, and piston housing filled with nitrogen gas to provide the correct amount of lifting pressure. Installation typically requires only basic tools and can be completed in minutes.
