Product Details

The MAHLE 993-103-915-31 Piston and Cylinder Set is a complete engine component assembly designed specifically for Porsche 993 Carrera 3.6L naturally aspirated engines. This is a six-piece set featuring 100mm bore diameter with 11.3:1 compression ratio, making it ideal for engine rebuilds and performance restoration projects.

Key Specifications:

  • Bore diameter: 100.00mm designed for 270/285 hp M64.05-08 engines
  • Compression ratio: 11.3:1
  • Nikasil-coated cylinders for superior wear resistance
  • Complete assembly with pistons, rings, wrist pins, and cylinders
  • Compatible with engine models M64.05/06, M64.07/08, and M64.22-24

Advanced Nikasil Cylinder Technology:

MAHLE developed Nikasil coating technology in the late 1960s, and this piston and cylinder set utilizes this proven nickel-silicon carbide electroplating process. The coating allows aluminum cylinders and pistons to work directly against each other with low wear and friction, providing exceptional durability and heat dissipation characteristics essential for high-performance flat-six engines.

What's Included:

This is a complete set of six piston and cylinder assemblies, with each unit including the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and Nikasil-coated cylinder. Every component is manufactured to OEM specifications, ensuring proper fit and reliable performance in your Porsche 993 engine rebuild.

OEM Cross-Reference:

MAHLE part number 504 37 92 / OEM part number 993 103 915 31
