INA 271-155-02-15 Alternator Freewheel Clutch Pulley

The INA 271-155-02-15 is a precision-engineered alternator freewheel clutch pulley designed to replace rigid alternator pulleys on select Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This overrunning alternator pulley (OAP) decouples the alternator from crankshaft rotational irregularities, significantly reducing belt vibration and accessory drive system wear.

Key Features:

• Overrunning clutch design absorbs engine vibrations and power pulses
• Reduces belt tension fluctuations and prevents belt slippage
• Extends alternator and belt tensioner service life
• 7-groove serpentine belt configuration with 55.7mm diameter
• Direct replacement for Mercedes-Benz OEM part number 2711550215
• Requires special tools for proper installation and removal

INA is a global leader in overrunning alternator pulley technology, having manufactured over 120 million OAPs for original equipment applications. This freewheel clutch allows the alternator to continue spinning during engine deceleration while preventing backwards rotation from being transmitted to the drive belt system. The result is smoother operation, reduced accessory drive noise, and improved component longevity. Cross-reference numbers include 535-0165-100 and 5350165100.
