Product Details

The HAZET 1862 Automatic Wire Stripper is a precision-crafted, German-made stripping tool engineered for clean, reliable removal of insulation from PVC-insulated solid and flexible cables. With an overall length of 180 mm and a compact, ergonomic design, this automatic wire stripper is built for professional use in automotive, electrical, and industrial applications.

Key Features:

  • Automatic adjustment to the conductor's cross-section — no manual dial setting required for a perfect strip every time
  • Compatible with PVC-insulated solid and flexible cables with conductor cross-sections from 0.5 to 4.0 mm²
  • Integrated side cutter for convenient wire cutting in a single tool
  • Protective plastic housing for durability and comfortable handling
  • Meets IEC 60900:2018 standards
  • Made in Germany to HAZET's exacting quality standards

The HAZET 1862 is an ideal wire stripper for technicians who need fast, consistent results without time-consuming manual adjustments. Its self-adjusting mechanism eliminates guesswork, protecting conductors from nicks while ensuring clean insulation removal every time.

As reported to Dawn in Customer Service: [1] Fedex bungled the delivery, letting the package sit for 3 rainy days outdoors in an unused area of the property and [2] the mufffler had a 1.5" inward dent. I provided 4 pictures and a full account of the 2 issues and asked for a cordial settlement in the form of an unspecified refund proportionate with those issues. Instead, I received an near-full refund. I was so impressed, I called and thanked Dawn for the exemplary handling of the matter. I gave a technical 3-star rating in regard to the product's condition. More importantly and except for that, I gave a well-deserved 5-star rating. Thank you.
