The Delphi 12-13-8-616-153 is a direct-fit ignition coil with integrated spark plug connector designed as an OEM replacement for BMW and MINI Cooper vehicles. This coil-on-plug design features one coil per cylinder, providing precise spark control and optimized engine performance.

  • Location notches are located in the center of the coil for proper cylinder identification
  • The spark plug connector is not available separately - coil includes integrated boot
  • Current BMW-approved OEM replacement coil for N20, N52, N54, N55, S55, and other engines
  • Upgrade replacement for Bosch part number 12-13-7-594-937
  • Sold individually - one coil per spark plug

Ignition coils are key to the efficiency and performance, as faulty coils prevent proper air/fuel mixture combustion, which can lead to engine misfires, rough idle, poor fuel economy, and potential damage to catalytic converters and oxygen sensors. Sluggish acceleration, misfires and rusty terminals are symptoms of a worn coil that should be inspected and replaced as needed or every 100,000 miles.

Important Installation Note: Vehicles produced prior to 4/2006 that don't already have Delphi coils also require socket housing part number 12-52-7-519-996 for installation (one per ignition coil). It is recommended to replace all coils with the same brand and not mix Delphi coils with other manufacturers.

The tires look and handle very well, especially for the money.

The customer service rep I was able to speak to very helpful and was able to email me an actual image of the product that I wanted before purchasing instead of the generic image that was being used on the website

Paid for 2 day delivery but because of order processing it took 4 days to get so keep in mind when paying extra for speedy delivery.
