The COMP Cams CL08-467-8 Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter kit is engineered for small block Chevy engines equipped with OE roller blocks. This complete kit delivers a performance upgrade with a 230/236 duration split designed to provide strong mid-range torque and excellent top-end power for street/strip applications.

Key Features:

  • Hydraulic roller camshaft with 230° intake / 236° exhaust duration at .050" lift
  • .500" intake / .510" exhaust valve lift with 1.5:1 rocker ratio
  • 112° lobe separation angle for broad powerband characteristics
  • Designed specifically for OE roller blocks (1987-up SBC)
  • Includes premium hydraulic roller lifters with anti-pump-up design
  • Complete kit with assembly lube, instructions, and COMP Cams decals

This camshaft profile produces a noticeable performance idle with excellent drivability, making it ideal for street machines, hot rods, and weekend bracket racers. The hydraulic roller design eliminates the need for constant valve adjustments while providing the performance benefits of a roller cam. Compatible with stock or aftermarket cylinder heads and works well with headers and performance intake manifolds. Recommended RPM range: 1,500-6,000 RPM.

I needed a few small XRP fittings for our NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster, I had called XRP and even a "pro racer discount" the price was ridiculous; couple this with their ridiculous shipping/handling charge I had to go elsewhere. I typed in the XRP part number into Google and found Autoplicity, twice as many pcs. as I was planning on ordering and with shipping it was cheaper than one fitting from XRP direct.
