Product Details

The ACL Bearings 5M2797HX-STD Race Series main bearing set is engineered for high-performance and racing applications where reliability under extreme conditions is critical. ACL Race Series bearings feature advanced metallurgy and proprietary bearing design to handle the increased loads and temperatures found in modified and racing engines.

Key Features:

  • Race Series construction with enhanced load capacity for high-performance applications
  • HX designation indicates extra clearance for modified engines with increased bearing speeds
  • Standard (STD) size for stock crankshaft journals
  • Tri-metal construction with hardened steel backing for maximum strength
  • Proprietary overlay material provides excellent embedability and seizure resistance
  • Precision manufactured to strict tolerances for optimal oil clearance
  • Designed to withstand extreme cylinder pressures and crankshaft deflection

ACL Race Series bearings are the choice of professional engine builders and racers worldwide. The HX extra clearance design accommodates thermal expansion in high-RPM applications while maintaining proper oil film thickness. Complete main bearing set includes all bearings needed for crankshaft installation.

Autoplicity had the item I wanted at a cheaper price than anybody online or in stores. They didn't have the item in stock, but they were very informative as to the status of my item. They have shown unheard of customer service via email since the inception of my order. I will definitely do business with them again.

PIAA stuff ships slow but good prices

Good company to deal with, will gladly do business here again.

I would definitely recommend Autoplicity. I ordered Thule bike racks (THU-518), and the products arrived in 2 days in perfect condition. Plus the prices (along with free shipping) were the best on the web.

It was the exact product I needed at the best price..fast shipping..arrived sooner than i expected
