EBC DP32160C Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads

EBC Redstuff DP32160C is a low dust ceramic brake pad set designed for fast street driving. The compound is a synthetic fiber base enhanced with ceramic particles. It is built to deliver strong braking from cold and to keep improving as the pads heat up.

Key Features:

• Low dust: EBC states dust is reduced by 60-90 percent, and the pad contains no steel fibre particles, so the minimal dust that remains washes off easily with a sponge.
• Strong cold braking: Braking from cold is described as equal to or better than original pads, and it improves as the pads heat up.
• Ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber compound: A newer formulation than EBC's earlier pre-ceramic Redstuff, with longer wear, better braking and quieter operation.
• EBC Brake-In surface coating: Conditions the rotor surface and speeds up pad bed-in.
• Nominal friction coefficient of 0.5.
• Fast road performance: Suited to repeated heavy braking. EBC reports it stopped a passenger car 13 metres shorter than OEM pads from 100 mph (160 kph).
• Brake safety approval: Most EBC Red Ceramic pads are approved to ECE R90.

Bed-in note: This is a hard wearing pad, so bed-in can take as long as 1000 miles while the pad takes up the shape of the disc (brake rotor). Patience during bed-in is recommended.
