Seastar Solutions SS15111 NFB Back Mount Rack & Pinion Steering Kit Single Cable 11 ft

The Seastar Solutions SS15111 is a complete No FeedBack (NFB) rack and pinion mechanical steering kit designed for single-station outboard boats. Combining the precision of a rack and pinion system with patented NFB technology, this kit actively locks out unwanted engine steering loads, delivering smooth, confident control at the helm. It is a direct drop-in replacement for Teleflex "The Rack" and compatible Back Mount rack steering systems, including TR118, RX4, and standard Back Mount units.

The innovative Back Mount design allows the helm and cable to be installed together as a single unit from behind the dash, eliminating the need for any dash modifications. The included 11-foot cable is measured from the center of the rack to the stainless steel shaft end that connects to the engine link arm.

Important Compatibility Note: SSC124XX old-style rack cables cannot be used with this system. This kit is intended for single-cable, single-station applications with a non-power-assisted outboard engine up to V-6 with minimal engine flutter or steering instability.
