The Ford Racing M-6049-Z304D7 is a high-performance bare aluminum cylinder head designed specifically for 302 and 351 Windsor engines. Engineered using advanced Solid Modeling Technology and cast from prime A356 T6 aluminum, this Z-Head features high-flow ports with 20-degree inline valves to maximize airflow and power output for competition applications.

• 63cc CNC-machined combustion chamber for consistent volume
• Intake port volume: 204cc as-cast
• Exhaust port volume: 85cc as-cast
• Suggested valve sizes: 2.02" intake and 1.60" exhaust
• Bare head weighs only 27 lbs
• Steel alloy intake and exhaust valve seats pre-installed (no valve job performed)
• Manganese-bronze valve guides installed with semi-finished inner diameter

Installation Requirements:

• Requires competition valve job and bowl blending
• Requires 7/16" screw-in studs (not included)
• Requires guide plate M-6566-Z304D (not included)
• Requires M-6564-F351 1.65:1 or M-6564-G351C 1.5:1 ratio roller rocker arms with .150" offset intake pushrod cup (not included)
• Uses 7mm M-6505-B3047 exhaust valve and M-6507-A3047 intake valve (not included)
• Raised exhaust port exit; custom headers may be required

Accepts both tapered seat and gasket-style 14mm spark plugs including Motorcraft AGSP-32-PP and Autolite 3924 or 3925. Check your intake manifold for port match as not all intakes are compatible due to the tall high-flow ports. This cylinder head is intended for competition use only and should not be installed on vehicles driven on public roads.
