Product Details

The Dorman 963-556 insulation retainer is a precision-engineered fastener designed to securely hold automotive insulation, sound deadening materials, and interior panels in place. This push-type retainer features a 1.09-inch head diameter that provides excellent holding power while distributing pressure evenly across the insulation material to prevent tearing or damage.

Key Specifications:

  • Head diameter: 1.09 inches for secure retention
  • Shank length: 0.41 inches for precise depth application
  • Mounting hole diameter: 0.12 inches
  • Push-in design for quick, tool-free installation
  • Durable construction resists heat and moisture

This retainer is ideal for securing hood insulation, firewall padding, trunk liners, and other automotive insulation applications. The compact shank length makes it perfect for tight spaces where access is limited. Dorman retainers are engineered to match or exceed OEM specifications, providing a reliable direct replacement solution for worn or missing factory fasteners.

Incredible prices! I purchased a name brand leveling kit for 40% less than any one else is selling them for. Item shipped out within 2 days. Shipping cost is reasonable, and if you leave a review here after your purchase, they'll credit you back $5! BEST DEAL GOING!

Lowest price I found, and discounted shipping.

Best price for EBC brakes hands down

Smooth transaction

Best price that I could find. It was real easy to order. Placed order on wed received it on Friday, doesn't get much better than that. Product looks great! <br>3/16/2012<br>Ok, product was to big for my setup needed to exchange for smaller product. They are going to charge me a restocking fee of 15% Even when my product did not fall under their conditions. This is crap. False advertisement. I was ok with paying all the extra shipping fees which will be about the amount of the product when it was all said and done. So mad don't think I'm gonna mess with this company anymore. They don't practice what they preach. Beware :(<br>3/20/2012<br>OK, Update number 3.<br>Received E-mail today saying that Autoplicity would now Not Charge Me a 15% restocking fee and they were sorry for the inconvenience. Very Happy Now this is the way to do business. <br>Thanks Rob :)<br>3/21/2012

Autoplicity had fast shipping at a low price compared to other competitors. The price for the item itself was the lowest around so I think I got a good deal or my car. Would buy from again!
