Product Details

The Gates 78953 Die Set 743 is a precision crimping die designed for use with the Gates Power Crimp 707 and SC32 hydraulic hose crimpers. This die set is engineered for crimping 12 dash size PowerCrimp couplings onto 5/8-inch hydraulic hoses, delivering factory-quality assemblies in professional and field applications.

Key Features:

  • Designed specifically for Gates Power Crimp 707 and SC32 crimpers
  • Used for 12AC PowerCrimp couplings with 5/8" hose
  • Produces crimp diameter of approximately 1.020 inches
  • Digital readout user setting of approximately 6.50
  • Precision-machined for consistent, reliable crimps
  • Ensures proper ferrule compression for leak-free hydraulic connections

This die set must be lubricated with light oil before use and should be inspected regularly for wear to maintain proper crimp specifications. When used with genuine Gates hoses and couplings, die set 743 helps ensure safe, durable hydraulic hose assemblies that meet OEM standards.

Easy to use, great prices and fast delivery too

Quick and easy!

Thanks for having the part I needed, and at a really good price!

Web site is very easy to follow or use. I'm thinking of finding other parts here. The battery has been delivered so quickly. It'd be better to see the order status changed from processing to shipping (or something) to know that it actually was shipped. Bu

I used Autoplicity for the first time less than a week ago. I ordered some 5' fog light covers. They arrived in a short time, Just what I thought they would be, and 100% satisfied with the product and fast shipping they provided.

Great Service

no problems

My first order from autoplicity. Good products and good prices. Received an order confirmation right away and a shipping confirmation within 1 business day. Have not received my order yet but if all goes as expected I shall be a return customer.

Autoplicity has really good service. They give you such good prices and yet they're still willing to give you discounts on your purchases. They emailed me a day later after purchase with shipping number. I would recommend them to anyone!
