Product Details

The Kat's 11435 is a 400-watt frost plug engine block heater designed to replace your vehicle's 42.5mm (1-11/16 inch) frost plug, providing direct heating to the engine coolant for reliable cold-weather starting. This electric engine heater installs in place of the existing frost plug and heats the engine block from the inside, ensuring your engine reaches optimal temperature before starting in freezing conditions.

Key Features:

  • 400-watt heating element provides efficient engine warming
  • Fits 42.5mm (1-11/16 inch) frost plug openings
  • Direct immersion heating warms coolant for faster, easier starts
  • Reduces engine wear caused by cold starts
  • Improves fuel economy and reduces emissions during warm-up
  • Enhances oil flow and lubrication at startup
  • Durable construction designed for harsh winter conditions

By warming the engine block before starting, this frost plug heater significantly reduces the strain on your engine during cold weather operation. Pre-heated engines start more easily, reach operating temperature faster, and experience less wear on critical components. The heater also promotes better fuel vaporization, which reduces harmful emissions and improves fuel efficiency during the warm-up period.

Installation Note: This heater replaces an existing frost plug in your engine block. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fitment and secure sealing. Verify your frost plug size before ordering.
