Gates 24045 Premium Molded Coolant Hose Curved Radiator Hose

The Gates 24045 is a premium pre-molded curved coolant hose engineered to deliver OEM-quality performance in radiator and engine cooling system applications. Factory-shaped for a precise, leak-free fit, this curved hose is designed to replace upper, lower, bypass, heater, and other coolant hoses without the need for a trip to the OE dealership.

Key Features:

• EPDM Construction: Tube and cover are manufactured from EPDM rubber, providing superior resistance to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants
• ECD Resistance: Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD) — the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Vacuum Collapse Resistance: Specifically-engineered materials and synthetic fiber knit reinforcement resist collapse under vacuum conditions
• Pre-Shaped Design: Factory-molded curved shape ensures a perfect fit and properly sealed connections with no unnecessary strain on hose ends
• Marine Approved: Approved for marine cooling system applications
• Industry Standards: Meets SAE 20R4 Class D2 and DIN 73411 Class A requirements
• Temperature Range: Rated from -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)

Gates molded coolant hoses represent the most comprehensive replacement line on the market. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed to ensure a secure, leak-free connection. Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications.
