Product Details

The Kat's 11425 is a 400-watt frost plug heater designed to heat your engine block during cold weather, ensuring faster starts and protecting your engine from damage caused by cold starts. This electric engine heater fits standard 34mm frost plug openings and works by warming the engine coolant, which circulates heat throughout the engine block.

Key Features:

  • 400-watt heating element provides efficient engine warming
  • Fits standard 34mm (1-3/8") frost plug openings
  • Reduces engine wear by improving oil flow and lubrication at startup
  • Improves fuel economy and reduces cold-start emissions
  • Helps vaporize fuel more efficiently for cleaner combustion
  • Extends engine life by eliminating cold-start stress
  • Standard 120V AC operation with grounded plug

Installation involves removing an existing frost plug and replacing it with the heater element. The heating element warms the coolant, which naturally circulates through the engine block. Simply plug in the heater a few hours before starting your vehicle in freezing temperatures for optimal performance.
