Product Details

The Gates G38100-0406 is a male pipe NPTF barb stem fitting with cone seat, designed for reliable low-pressure fluid connections. This brass hydraulic coupling features a 1/4" (4) barb stem on one end and 3/8"-18 (6) male pipe NPTF threads on the other end.

Key Features:

  • Used with low pressure multi-purpose or general purpose rubber hose and thermoplastic tubing for fuel, oil, compressed air, water and cooling lines
  • Field attachable and reusable for convenient installation and maintenance
  • Economical choice for general purpose fluid and pneumatic applications
  • One piece fitting is compact and great for use in tight spaces
  • Manufactured from high-quality C36000 brass alloy for corrosion resistance
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +160°F (-40°C to +71°C)

This fitting is typically found on heavy duty truck, construction, industrial, and mobile applications. The barbed design provides secure hose attachment when used with appropriate hose clamps, while the NPTF tapered pipe threads ensure leak-free connections.

so far so good

Quick find, and payment

very nice.

Good selection, easy installation. The only problem was the stake pocket bolts for my 2015 F150 had to be modified. They were too long. Not sure why. I was positive that I selected that year when I ordered.

So far great product at a great price

Nice

Found exactly what I needed at a reasonable price!

Great Company Smooth Transaction.. Thanks

Saved 50% from what the local parts stores were selling it for, even after shipping. Same exact product. I'll definitely be shopping here again. Thanks!

Your site looks professionally constructed and has an easy to understand interface.

So far so good.

Web interface seems a little clunky-----a lot of seemingly unnecessary scrolling.

The order process is simple and efficient. Shipping was quick. Price was excellent.
