Product Details

The Gates G60691-0003 is a precision-engineered brass male inverted flare plug designed for reliable hydraulic and fluid system connections. This compact fitting features a 3/16-inch outside diameter (OD) with 3/8-24 thread specifications, making it compatible with copper, brass, aluminum, and steel tubing that can be flared.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from high-quality brass for durability and corrosion resistance
  • Male inverted flare design ensures secure, leak-proof connections
  • 3/16" A1 OD with 3/8-24 T1 thread specification
  • Meets SAE J512 functional requirements and industry standards including ASA, ASME, SAE, and MS (Military Standards)
  • Temperature range: -65°F to +250°F (-53°C to +121°C)
  • Suitable for air, fuel, oil, power steering, and water applications
  • Underwriters Laboratories listed for fuel equipment and gas applications (special order)

Installation Note: Proper torque is critical for leak-proof performance. Do not over-torque as this may damage the connector or split the tubing at the flare. Gates brass fittings are manufactured to precise tolerances to ensure reliable, long-lasting hydraulic connections in automotive, industrial, and fleet applications.
