Gates 1490 Truflex V-Belt Classical Section Accessory Drive Belt

The Gates 1490 Truflex V-Belt is a classical-section fractional horsepower (FHP) drive belt engineered for reliable power transmission in automotive accessory drives, small engines, and light-duty industrial applications. Part of the Gates Truflex line, this belt is designed to flex and bend easily around small-diameter pulleys while maintaining consistent tension and grip.

Key Features:

• Truflex Construction: Specially engineered cord and rubber compound allow the belt to flex around tight-radius pulleys without cracking or glazing
• Classical V-Belt Profile: Standard trapezoidal cross-section for compatibility with conventional V-belt sheaves and pulleys
• Heat and Oil Resistant: Formulated to withstand under-hood temperatures and resist degradation from incidental oil or fluid exposure
• Notchless Design: Smooth inner surface maintains full contact with pulley grooves for efficient power transfer
• OEM-Quality Replacement: Built to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for a direct drop-in fit

The Gates 1490 is a trusted replacement belt suitable for a wide range of accessory drive systems. Gates is a globally recognized leader in power transmission and fluid transfer, and the Truflex line is specifically designed for applications where belt flexibility is critical to performance and longevity.
