Gates 24006 Premium Molded Coolant Hose

The Gates 24006 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is a precision-engineered replacement radiator hose designed to deliver OEM-quality fit and long-lasting cooling system performance. Factory pre-shaped to match exact vehicle specifications, this molded coolant hose installs with confidence and seals reliably from the first use.

Key Features:

• EPDM construction — Tube, reinforcement, and cover are engineered for superior resistance to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants
• Synthetic fiber knit reinforcement — Provides structural integrity and resists vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs in many applications
• Electrochemical degradation (ECD) resistance — Specifically compounded to combat the leading cause of coolant hose failure, where the hose, coolant, and metal fittings form a galvanic cell that degrades the hose from within
• Pre-shaped molded design — Ensures a precise, leak-free fit without cutting or adapting
• Wide application coverage — Suitable for upper, lower, bypass, heater, and other coolant hose positions
• Approved for marine applications — Meets the demands of both automotive and marine cooling systems
• Meets SAE 20R4 Class D2 and DIN 73411 Class A standards — Industry-certified for quality and safety
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)

Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed to ensure a proper seal. As part of a complete cooling system service, inspect and replace coolant hoses at regular intervals to prevent unexpected failures.
