Product Details

The Gates G25165-0808X is a MegaCrimp hydraulic hose coupling featuring low carbon steel construction with a clear zinc finish for corrosion resistance. This fitting connects 1/2-inch hose to 1/2-inch Male JIC 37-degree flare connections, and is also known by the alternate part number 8G-8MJ.

Key Features:

  • MegaCrimp couplings provide a patented leak-proof seal utilizing an innovative "C" insert design
  • The "C" insert accommodates different hose constructions and wall thicknesses while ensuring even distribution of crimping forces for a concentric seal
  • Surpassed one million impulse cycles during design testing
  • Overall length of 2.81 inches with a cutoff dimension of 1.34 inches
  • 3/4-16 thread specification on the Male JIC 37-degree flare end
  • Simplifies inventory requirements as one size can accommodate many different hose outer diameters on both one and two-wire hoses

Gates MegaCrimp hydraulic hose fittings are designed to provide reliable and efficient connections between hydraulic hoses and equipment, featuring a unique design that ensures optimal performance and minimal leakage. This coupling is part of the G25 series and is suitable for demanding hydraulic applications across automotive, industrial, and mobile equipment.
