Product Details

The Gates G45511-1210 is a PolarSeal® ACA series Male SAE Flareless Assembly (MFA) 90-Degree Block Coupling constructed from lightweight aluminum. Also identified by the Gates part designation 12ACA-10MFA90, this coupling is engineered specifically for automotive and mobile air conditioning systems, connecting an A/C hose to a hard tube without the need for flaring.

Part of the Gates PolarSeal series, this coupling is designed to deliver environmentally safe, energy-efficient performance with exceptional resistance to heat, moisture, chemicals, and ozone corrosives. The 90-degree block configuration allows for precise hose routing in tight or angled installations, while the SAE flareless assembly design simplifies termination — the hose end must be crimped onto the coupling using compatible Gates crimp tooling.

Key Features:

  • Part Number: G45511-1210 / 12ACA-10MFA90
  • Series: Gates PolarSeal® ACA
  • Connection Type: Male SAE Flareless Assembly (MFA)
  • Angle: 90-Degree Block
  • Material: Aluminum
  • Hose Size: -12 (5/8 in. ID)
  • End Thread Size: 7/8-14
  • End Size: 5/8 in.
  • Installation: Requires crimping — hose end must be crimped on
  • Application: Automotive and mobile A/C refrigerant lines

For optimal system performance and a guaranteed long-lasting fit, Gates recommends pairing PolarSeal couplings with Gates PolarSeal air conditioning hose assemblies. This ensures full design compatibility and maximum reliability throughout the life of the A/C system.

This was my first purchase from Autoplicity, I bought a HyperTech tuner for my truck, they had absolutely the lowest price of anywhere I looked by far. Only thing I could fault them on is that it took 3 days for the product to ship, a little bit long I feel for something that was in stock, but Ill overlook it since it was such a great price.
