MSD 37284 Iridium Spark Plug 14mm 0.866in Reach Gasket Seat

The MSD 37284 is a high-performance iridium spark plug engineered for efficient combustion and increased durability. The plug style is 8IR5L.

Key Features:

• Iridium center tip — an extremely hard material that delivers a consistent, reliable spark while resisting wear over time
• Copper center core for excellent thermal conductivity and efficient energy transfer
• Proprietary ceramic housing enhances dielectric strength, forcing the spark to jump the gap even under extreme cylinder pressures
• Yttrium-enhanced, machine-ground ground straps to withstand the heat demands of high-output ignition systems
• Projected tip design exposes more of the spark to incoming air/fuel charge for a more complete combustion event
• Legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles (1966 and newer U.S. vehicles) when used per the manufacturer's application guide

The MSD 37284 iridium spark plug is designed for performance-oriented applications where a standard plug falls short. Whether on the street or at the track, these plugs are built to deliver consistent ignition performance in high-horsepower, high-demand ignition system setups.
