Ohlins YA041 Street Rear Shock Absorber - STX46 S46HR1C1S 320mm

The Öhlins YA041 is a STX46 Street series rear shock absorber (model S46HR1C1S) engineered for naked sports and street performance motorcycles. Built around Öhlins' well-proven monotube platform, the STX46 Street delivers a significant suspension upgrade over stock, combining precision damping control with a robust, serviceable design.

At the core of the YA041 is a 46mm main piston paired with a divided piston layout and an internal gas reservoir housed within the main shock body. A hose-mounted external reservoir provides additional oil volume and thermal stability. The shock is charged with high-pressure nitrogen gas for consistent, fade-resistant performance. Installed length is 320mm.

Key Features:

• 46mm main piston — large-diameter monotube design for superior damping precision
• Adjustable rebound damping (R1) — adjuster wheel located above the end eye for easy on-bike tuning
• Adjustable compression damping (C1) — adjuster wheel or slot mounted on the reservoir
• Hose-mounted hydraulic spring preload adjuster (S) — convenient preload changes to fine-tune ride height and sag
• High-pressure nitrogen gas charged — monotube construction with hose-mounted external reservoir
• 320mm installed length — direct-fit replacement geometry
• Compatible with ABS and non-ABS variants
• Full Öhlins serviceability and spring rate options available

The Öhlins YA041 S46HR1C1S is a direct-fit rear shock for the Yamaha FZ1 and FZ8, offering professional-grade adjustability and Öhlins' race-proven build quality for demanding street riders.
