MBRP FAL460 4-Inch Armor Lite Turbo Downpipe Aluminized Steel

The MBRP FAL460 Armor Lite Turbo Downpipe is a high-performance replacement for the restrictive factory downpipe, designed to significantly improve exhaust flow and overall engine performance. This direct-fit component eliminates the factory choke point between the turbocharger and exhaust system, reducing backpressure and allowing your turbo to breathe more efficiently.

Key Features:

• 4-inch diameter for maximum exhaust flow and reduced backpressure
• Heavy-gauge 16-gauge aluminized steel construction for durability
• Mandrel-bent tubing ensures smooth, unrestricted airflow
• Jig-manufactured for precision fit and accurate installation
• Bolt-on design with no cutting or welding required
• Enhances throttle response and improves fuel economy
• Helps lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs)
• Fully sealed tubing prevents premature rust-through

Performance Benefits:

By replacing the restrictive stock downpipe, the FAL460 dramatically improves exhaust velocity, allowing your engine to run more efficiently. You'll experience improved turbo spool, more responsive acceleration, and better overall power delivery. The increased flow also helps reduce exhaust gas temperatures, which is especially beneficial when towing or under heavy loads. This downpipe serves as an excellent foundation for additional performance modifications such as tuners, cold air intakes, and cat-back exhaust systems.

Construction and Warranty:

Part of MBRP's Armor Lite series, this downpipe is constructed from durable aluminized steel—MBRP's most value-oriented material that offers excellent durability in dry climates. The 4-inch mandrel-bent design maintains consistent diameter throughout all bends, maximizing flow efficiency. Each downpipe is jig-manufactured to ensure perfect fitment and comes with all necessary hardware for installation. Backed by MBRP's 3-year limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.
