When performing an overbore rebuild, a properly matched base gasket is essential for achieving correct deck height, optimal compression, and a reliable cylinder-to-crankcase seal.

This gasket is the recommended companion component to the Wiseco R1052 1109cc big bore piston kit, ensuring all critical sealing surfaces are addressed during the rebuild process. Using a purpose-made replacement base gasket eliminates the risk of reusing a compressed or compromised OEM gasket after a bore job.
