Wiseco PK1579 GP Series Forged Piston Kit Honda - 54mm 762M 00-02 CR125

The Wiseco PK1579 is a GP Series forged piston kit designed for the 2000–2002 Honda CR125R single-cylinder two-stroke motocross engine. Built to an oversize bore of 54mm (762M), this kit is engineered for riders looking to restore lost compression or take advantage of an overbore during top-end rebuilds.

Wiseco's GP Series pistons are manufactured from aerospace-grade forged aluminum alloy, offering superior strength and heat dissipation compared to cast alternatives. The tighter grain structure of the forging process results in a lighter, stronger piston that can withstand the high-RPM demands of competitive two-stroke motocross riding.

Kit Includes:

• Forged GP Series piston — 54mm oversize bore (762M)
• Piston ring set — precision-fit for optimal sealing and compression retention
• Wrist pin (piston pin) — hardened for durability under load
• Circlips (retaining clips) — secure wrist pin retention

Wiseco is a leading OEM supplier and aftermarket piston manufacturer trusted by professional motocross and off-road racers worldwide. The PK1579 kit provides everything needed for a complete top-end overhaul, making it ideal for routine rebuilds, overbore applications, or performance restoration on the CR125R platform.
