Product Details

The S&S Cycle 91-9001 is a 7.5:1 compression, 88" Shovelhead top end kit that includes cylinders and pistons, fit and ready to install. It is a bolt-on engine upgrade for builders increasing displacement on a Shovelhead motor.

Key Features:

  • 7.5:1 compression ratio
  • 88" displacement with a 4-1/4" stroke
  • Includes cylinders and pistons, fit and ready to install
  • Includes head and base gaskets
  • Also includes base nuts and head bolts

Installation Notes:

  • Stock cases and heads must be bored to accept the larger 3-5/8" bore cylinders.
  • Stock flywheels must be re-balanced.
  • An S&S manifold must be purchased due to the increased cylinder length.
