Product Details

3M Perfect-It II Rubbing Compound is a professional-grade medium cutting compound formulated to remove color sanding scratches and restore a smooth, refined finish on automotive paint systems. This liquid compound effectively eliminates 1200, 1500, and 2000 grit sand scratches from fresh paint, clear coats, and refinished surfaces.

Key Features:

  • Medium cutting formula removes color sanding scratches without excessive surface removal
  • Specifically engineered for modern automotive paint systems including clear coat finishes
  • Liquid consistency allows for easy application by hand or machine buffing
  • Minimizes swirl marks while delivering a fine finish ready for final polishing
  • Works as part of the 3M Perfect-It two-step system when followed by foam polishing pad glaze
  • Professional results in less time compared to traditional multi-step compounding processes

This gallon size is ideal for body shops, professional detailers, and serious automotive enthusiasts. When used with the proper buffing pads and followed by 3M Perfect-It Foam Polishing Pad Glaze, this system delivers show-quality results with exceptional gloss and depth.

fast and easy to find the parts I need thank you

Very satisfied! My intake shipped on Friday and I received it on Tuesday. Not only super fast shipping, but a great deal to boot!

I ordered a hitch off of this site for Christmas, I have never heard of it nor did I know how they were, but they are great! Got my package in I'd say 4 days, very fast and it was exactly what I wanted! Only down fall was they charged me 3 times and I was short 150$ for a few days. I got my money back and I would definitely order again.

Very good customer service asked about a lot of different springs and parts for my Mazdaspeed 3.
