Wilwood 120-11132 Forged Superlite 6-Piston Radial Mount Brake Caliper

The Wilwood 120-11132 Forged Superlite Internal (FSLI) disc brake caliper represents the pinnacle of high-performance braking technology for racing and performance applications. This 6-piston caliper is engineered for short track, late model, modified, open wheel, road race, off-road, rally, and sport driving applications where maximum stopping power and minimal pedal travel are critical.

Stress-Flow Forged Construction:

Each caliper body is stress-flow forged from premium grade aluminum alloy billets, a process that re-aligns the metal's internal grain structure to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This eliminates the stresses and grain interruptions that occur when machining straight block billets, resulting in superior strength and resistance to deflection under extreme braking loads.

Advanced FSL Body Design:

• Computer-generated solid modeling and finite element stress analysis
• Closed-end bridges with radial transitions to piston housings
• Eliminates machined steps and sharp shoulders for increased body strength
• Center bridge bolts replace cotter pins for quick pad access and positive retention
• 3.50" centered mounting tabs for direct Superlite caliper replacement

Premium Performance Features:

• Replaceable SRS stainless steel bridge plates eliminate pad gouging and bridge wear
• Spring-loading action of SRS plates prevents pad rattle and reduces brake squeal
• High-temperature square-faced O-ring seals for positive sealing and controlled piston retraction
• Stainless steel pistons resist corrosion and reduce heat transfer from pads
• Two-piece bleed screw assemblies for reliable, long-service life
• Compatible with 7420-type bridge bolt brake pads

Application Flexibility:

FSLI calipers are direct replacements for all Wilwood Superlite and similar competitive brand calipers with 3.50" centered mounting tabs. Available in multiple piston sizes (1.75", 1.62", 1.38", 1.25", and 1.12") for various rotor widths (.81", 1.10", and 1.25"), allowing precise brake bias tuning for your specific application. Compatible with the full range of Wilwood PolyMatrix pad compounds to match brake response and heat range to any racing or performance driving condition.
