Product Details

The Mikuni 785-24001-O-0 is a precision brass needle jet from the 389 series, engineered specifically for TM32 through TM38 flat-slide carburetors. This Japanese-made component plays a critical role in fuel metering during mid-throttle operation, working in conjunction with the jet needle to control the fuel-air mixture.

Key Specifications:

  • Series: 389
  • Size designation: O-0 (leaner mid-throttle profile)
  • Material: High-quality brass construction
  • Approximate length: 47mm
  • Outer diameter: 6.5mm at head, 5.2mm at shaft
  • Origin: Made in Japan

Performance Characteristics:

The O-0 size designation indicates a leaner mid-throttle fuel delivery profile, making this needle jet ideal for applications requiring improved throttle response and preventing overly rich fuel mixtures. This is particularly beneficial for performance tuning where crisp acceleration and efficient combustion are priorities.

Application:

Compatible with Mikuni TM32, TM33, TM34, TM36, and TM38 flat-slide carburetors. The needle jet is a tunable component that allows precise calibration of the carburetor's mid-range fuel curve, typically affecting operation between 1/4 and 3/4 throttle positions.

Great place. Wish some idems had more detailed descriptions.

Great prices on VHT specialty spray paints. Others advertise low prices, and then pad the total cost with ridiculously high shipping costs.
