The Wiseco K1701 is a high-performance forged piston kit designed for Harley-Davidson and Buell S1, S3, and S3T models. Wiseco pistons are forged from a high-silicone aluminum alloy, providing superior dimensional stability, long service life, and excellent resistance to thermal expansion at high operating temperatures. Coated piston skirts reduce friction and wear, while chrome piston pins add strength and longevity.

• X-Ring package: .062" top ring, .062" compression ring, .158" oil ring
• XC-Ring package: .039" top ring, .062" compression ring, .158" oil ring
• VM-Ring package: 1.2mm steel positive-twist gas-nitrided top ring, 1.2mm cast iron taper under-hook scraper ring, 2.0mm three-piece flex-vent oil ring with steel chrome-faced rails

Important Notes:

• X-Ring part numbers end in "X"; XC-Ring part numbers end in "XC" — these ring types are not interchangeable
• Wiseco pistons designed for VM-rings can only be fitted with Wiseco VM-rings; pistons designed for XC-rings can only be fitted with Wiseco XC-rings
• Replacement rings are sold per piston (one piston's worth of rings per package)
• 103" kits require cylinder boring; 110" kits require big-bore cylinders and case boring
