Vortex 3289-16 Front Sprocket 16T Steel 520 Conversion

The Vortex 3289-16 is a high-performance front sprocket engineered for riders seeking durability and weight savings in their drivetrain. This 16-tooth front sprocket is constructed from high-carbon steel and features precision manufacturing to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Key Features:

• 16-tooth configuration for 520 chain conversion applications
• High-carbon steel construction provides maximum strength and durability
• Drilled lightening holes reduce rotating mass for improved throttle response
• Special Vortex nickel plating resists corrosion and wear
• Induction hardened surface treatment minimizes wear and extends service life
• Precision tolerances ensure proper concentricity and smooth operation

This front sprocket is designed for 520 chain conversion setups, allowing riders to reduce overall drivetrain weight while maintaining strength. The combination of lightening holes and high-carbon steel construction delivers an optimal balance of reduced rotational mass and structural integrity. The nickel plating and induction hardening processes provide excellent resistance to the elements and the demanding conditions of high-performance motorcycle operation.
