Vortex 3271-17 520 Conversion Front Sprocket 17 Tooth Chromoly Steel

The Vortex 3271-17 is a high-performance 17-tooth front sprocket designed for 520 chain conversion applications. Part of Vortex Racing's professional-grade drivetrain components, this sprocket enables riders to convert from heavier stock chain systems to a lighter, more efficient 520 setup for improved acceleration and reduced rotating mass.

Key Features:

• Constructed from high-carbon chromoly steel for maximum strength and durability
• Precision-manufactured and induction-hardened to exact tolerances for improved concentricity
• Special nickel plating finish resists corrosion and extends service life
• Induction hardening process reduces surface wear for longer-lasting performance
• Cross-drilled lightening holes reduce rotating mass without sacrificing strength
• 520 pitch conversion design reduces overall drivetrain weight by 2+ pounds compared to stock
• 17-tooth configuration provides balanced gearing for street and performance applications

Vortex Racing has been manufacturing premium motorcycle racing components in the USA for over 20 years. Each sprocket is engineered to the tightest tolerances in the industry, delivering a stronger, quieter, and longer-lasting drivetrain upgrade. The 520 conversion setup reduces gyroscopic forces and frees up horsepower, making it a popular choice for both track and aggressive street riders.
