SPI SM-09259 T-Moly Snowmobile Piston Kit 800cc Standard Size

The SPI SM-09259 is a standard-size T-Moly piston kit designed for 800cc snowmobile engines. Featuring a molybdenum (T-Moly) coating on the piston skirts, this kit delivers superior heat transfer, reduced friction, and extended engine life — making it an excellent choice for both replacement and performance-minded builds.

Each kit is manufactured to strict OEM specifications, ensuring a direct, drop-in fit with no modifications required. All components are dimensionally interchangeable with original factory parts, and piston weight is matched to the OEM specification to maintain proper engine balance and smooth operation.

Kit Includes:

• 1 Piston (T-Moly coated)
• 1 Ring Set
• 1 Wrist Pin
• 1 Circlip Set

T-Moly Coating Benefits:

• Enhanced heat transfer — optimized skirt design channels combustion heat efficiently to cylinder walls, reducing hot spots and thermal stress
• Reduced friction — molybdenum disulfide (T-Moly) skirt coating minimizes metal-to-metal contact during cold starts and high-RPM operation
• Extended wear life — low-friction coating reduces cylinder and ring wear over time
• OEM-compatible dimensions — all components meet original manufacturer tolerances for rings, pins, and circlips
• Weight-matched — piston mass is engineered to match the original for balanced reciprocating assembly

SPI (Small Parts Inc.) is a trusted manufacturer of powersports engine components, with a broad catalog of snowmobile pistons, rings, and engine rebuild kits. The SM-09259 is a reliable solution for restoring engine compression and performance to factory standards.
