The S&S Cycle 50-8151 is a precision-engineered thread conversion insert designed to adapt existing 1/2"-13 threaded holes to accept 5/16"-18 fasteners. This thread reducer bushing is a genuine S&S Cycle replacement component commonly used in carburetor installations and engine modifications.

Application Notes: This thread bushing is commonly used when installing carburetor support brackets that require 5/16"-18 bolts in cylinder heads originally tapped for 1/2"-13 threads. Two reducers are typically required per motor. Sold individually.

Installation Tip: Exercise care during installation as the pre-applied thread locker requires controlled force. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the insert threads.
