The Hot Cams 5PK1000185 valve shim kit contains five precision-machined 1.85mm shims designed for valve clearance adjustment on high-performance motorcycles. These shims are essential maintenance components used during valve service to achieve proper valve lash specifications and ensure optimal engine performance.

Key Features:

• Precision-machined to exact 1.85mm thickness specification
• Package contains 5 individual shims for multiple adjustments
• High-quality steel construction for durability and heat resistance
• Direct replacement for OEM valve adjustment shims
• Essential for proper valve train maintenance and engine longevity

Valve shims are critical components in maintaining proper valve clearance on motorcycles with shim-under-bucket valve train designs. Over time, valve clearances change due to normal wear, and replacing shims with the correct thickness ensures proper valve operation, prevents premature wear, and maintains optimal engine performance. Each shim is manufactured to precise tolerances for accurate valve lash adjustment.
