Wedge-Locking Header Bolts; Hex Head; M8 X .984in; Chevy Ls; Nickel Plt; 12 Pcs

Each PROFORM 12.9 Steel (equiv. Grade 8+) Header Bolt is permanently assembled with a pair of special washers. When the bolt is torqued to 28+ ft-lbs, the washers super-hardened external teeth bite into and grip the bottom of the bolt head and the top surface of the header. After being self-locked in this manner, any bolt-loosening rotation is blocked by a wedge-locking action created by the washers interfacing, matching cams. It's an uphill climb: vibration that might ordinarily loosen the bolt actually increases the wedge-locking tension, securing the bolt even more. Because this simple wedge-locking method uses tension instead of friction, contact with oil actually facilitates the wedge effect. When changing headers, PROFORM Header Bolts can be untightened with a normal wrench, lubricated, and reused.

Easy to navigate website.Quicker than expected delivery time.

Good prices.

Easy to shop. Now waiting for product to ship and see about install.

Good experience.

Fast shipping

I am very well satisfied with it being so easy to order what I needed , the delivery time and the price of the product and the product itself. I am sure that I will be ordering from Autoplicity again sometime again in the future.

I ordered a set of inner tie rods for my car from Autoplicity and found their prices to be the lowest online for the brand I was looking for. Items were ship out in 2 business days from the original manufacturer. Shipping prices were kind of on the expensive end considering the package size and weight so if Autoplicity adjust their shipping prices to be more competitive, I think their service and pricing would be hard to beat!

Satisfied

It was fine

So far the best price that I have found

Like other customer reviews, so i hope service is consistent.

Fast, Easy. Thank you!

Best price fast shipping. will deffinitly order again

great deals

This is our second order from Autoplicity. The first one didn't go so well due to a mix up with the Sparco seat pricing. Though I was starting to question our decision to order from them after several emails and phone calls and online chats, they came through in the end. These guys earned our second order by honoring the price they had listed and then calling to follow up when our race seat was shipped. Since this group was able turn our bad experience into a positive one we made our second order and, so far, it looks like they are again getting us what we want at the best price we can find. We are happy to recommend Autoplicty and plan on using them for future orders. There is one specific thing we would recommend, change the quality and volume of the hold music on the 800 #. It sounded like we were calling a 1970's van with a blown Jensen stereo turned all the way up,...

Clean functional website. Thanks

Best price I could find. It was delivered just when I needed it. Thank you !

they had the lowest price around for my car's k&n air filter. A great product at wholesale prices!

thanks
