Product Details

The COMP Cams K08-418-8 Xtreme Marine camshaft kit is a complete hydraulic roller cam package designed specifically for Small Block Chevrolet engines. This comprehensive K-Kit provides everything needed for a complete valvetrain upgrade in marine applications where durability and corrosion resistance are critical.

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Marine 224/230 hydraulic roller camshaft with enhanced corrosion-resistant coating
  • Hydraulic roller lifters compatible with OE roller blocks
  • High-performance valve springs engineered for hydraulic roller profiles
  • Valve spring retainers and locks
  • Valve stem seals for positive oil control
  • Timing chain set for precise valve timing
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in
  • Installation instructions and COMP Cams decals

This camshaft features a 224/230 duration profile that delivers improved throttle response and power gains throughout the RPM range while maintaining smooth idle characteristics suitable for marine environments. The hydraulic roller design reduces friction and wear compared to flat tappet cams, while the specialized marine coating protects against the harsh conditions of marine use. Designed to work with factory roller blocks, this kit simplifies installation by utilizing the engine's existing roller lifter provisions.
