The COMP Cams K08-468-8 is a complete XFI 242/248 Hydraulic Roller K-Kit engineered for OE roller Small Block Chevy engines. Built around COMP Cams' Xtreme Fuel Injection (XFI) camshaft series, this kit delivers the newest and quickest lobe profiles in the Xtreme family, tuned specifically for EFI applications with wider lobe separation for improved responsiveness without sacrificing airflow signal. This is a serious street/strip package that excels at wide-open throttle and pairs exceptionally well with aftermarket cylinder heads.

The XFI 242/248 grind produces strong mid-range power with excellent top-end performance and a distinct performance idle. To get the most from this kit, supporting modifications including headers, gear upgrades, and a 2500+ RPM stall converter are recommended. Minimum compression ratio of 9.5:1 is suggested for optimal results.

Important Note: This camshaft is optimized for use with a melanized or nitrided distributor gear. It is not compatible with standard cast or steel gears without similar surface treatments. Use of an improper distributor gear will void all warranties.
