Product Details

The COMP Cams Xe CL01-425-8 is a complete hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter kit engineered for Chevrolet Big Block Gen VI engines. This cam delivers a 248/254 duration split designed to provide excellent mid-range torque and strong top-end power, making it ideal for street/strip applications and hot rod builds that demand aggressive performance without sacrificing driveability.

Key Specifications:

  • Duration: 248° intake / 254° exhaust (advertised)
  • Camshaft Type: Hydraulic roller
  • Application: Chevrolet Big Block Gen VI engines
  • Series: COMP Cams Xe series

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Hydraulic roller camshaft
  • Performance hydraulic roller lifters
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in
  • Detailed installation instructions
  • COMP Cams decals

The hydraulic roller design eliminates the need for break-in procedures required by flat tappet cams while providing superior valve control and reduced friction. The Xe series profile is optimized for applications running 9.5:1 to 10.5:1 compression ratios with aftermarket cylinder heads, headers, and intake manifolds. This kit provides everything needed for a complete cam swap, ensuring proper lubrication and component compatibility right out of the box.
