The COMP Cams SK21-226-4 Xtreme Energy camshaft kit delivers enhanced performance for Chrysler 383-440 cubic inch V8 engines. This hydraulic flat tappet cam features 250° intake and 256° exhaust duration, providing a noticeable increase in mid-range torque and horsepower over stock while maintaining good street manners and vacuum characteristics.

Complete SK-Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Energy hydraulic flat tappet camshaft with aggressive lobe profiles
  • Matching hydraulic lifter set engineered for proper cam geometry
  • High-performance timing chain set for precise cam timing
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in protection
  • Installation instructions and COMP Cams decals

The Xtreme Energy series is designed for street/strip applications where increased power is desired without sacrificing driveability. This cam works well with stock or aftermarket cylinder heads, intake manifolds, and compression ratios between 9.0:1 and 10.5:1. Ideal for muscle car restorations, hot rods, and performance rebuilds on classic Mopar B-block engines including 383, 400, and 440 applications.

Recommended Components: Works with stock valve springs up to .500" lift; verify piston-to-valve clearance during installation. Professional installation recommended for proper degreeing and break-in procedures.
