The COMP Cams SK31-254-4 Xtreme Energy camshaft kit delivers improved performance for Ford small block 221-302 cubic inch V8 engines. This hydraulic flat tappet camshaft features a 250/256 degree advertised duration profile designed to increase horsepower and torque across the mid-range RPM band while maintaining good street manners and idle quality.

Complete SK-Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Energy hydraulic flat tappet camshaft with 250/256 duration
  • Hydraulic flat tappet lifters (16 pieces)
  • Timing chain and gear set
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in
  • Installation instructions
  • COMP Cams decals

This cam kit is ideal for street/strip applications and works well with stock or mildly modified engines. The Xtreme Energy grind profile provides excellent throttle response and a noticeable performance improvement over stock camshafts while remaining emissions legal in most states. Recommended operating range is 1,500-5,500 RPM with a power band optimized for 2,500-5,500 RPM.
