The COMP Cams Xtreme Energy SK11-254-4 is a complete small camshaft installation kit designed for Chevrolet big block engines (396-454 cubic inch). This hydraulic flat tappet camshaft delivers enhanced performance with 250 degrees intake duration and 256 degrees exhaust duration, providing increased power and torque across the RPM range while maintaining excellent street manners and idle quality.

Complete SK-Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Energy hydraulic flat tappet camshaft
  • Hydraulic lifter set (16 lifters)
  • Timing chain and gear set
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in
  • Installation instructions
  • COMP Cams decals

The Xtreme Energy cam profile is ideal for performance street applications, muscle car restorations, and mild performance builds. This camshaft works well with stock or mildly modified cylinder heads and provides a noticeable improvement in throttle response and mid-range power. The included timing set ensures proper cam timing, while the assembly lube protects critical components during initial startup and break-in.

This kit provides everything needed for a complete camshaft upgrade except pushrods and valve springs, which should be verified for compatibility with your specific application. Best suited for engines with 9.0:1 to 10.5:1 compression ratio and stock to mild performance intake manifolds.
