The COMP Cams Xtreme Energy SK11-234-3 is a complete small camshaft installation kit designed for Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 engines. This hydraulic flat tappet camshaft delivers 212/218 degrees of advertised duration, providing an aggressive idle and strong mid-range power delivery ideal for street performance and bracket racing applications.

Complete SK-Kit Includes:

  • Xtreme Energy hydraulic flat tappet camshaft with 212/218 duration profile
  • Matched hydraulic lifter set engineered for this cam profile
  • High-performance timing chain set for precise valve timing
  • COMP Cams assembly lube for proper break-in
  • Installation instructions and decals

This cam kit is designed to maximize torque and horsepower in the 1,500-5,500 RPM range, making it an excellent choice for street-driven big block Chevys with stock or mildly modified cylinder heads. The Xtreme Energy lobe design provides excellent throttle response while maintaining good vacuum for power brakes and accessories. Recommended for engines with 9.0:1 to 10.5:1 compression ratio and 2,200-3,000 RPM stall converters in automatic transmission applications.

This was my first time shopping with Autoplicity after finding them on a froogle.com (google shopping) search for low priced Hawk brake pads.
