Each ring is manufactured to tight tolerances for consistent end gap, ring tension, and seating performance.

Key Features:

• +0.040" Oversize — designed for engines bored 0.040" over standard bore diameter
• OEM-quality construction — manufactured by MAHLE, a Tier 1 OEM supplier to major automakers
• Complete ring set — includes compression rings and oil control rings for one piston
• Precision tolerances — consistent ring end gap and tension for reliable sealing
• Surface treatment — rings feature appropriate coatings (such as chrome, moly, or phosphate) for durability and break-in performance
• Restores engine performance — reduces blow-by, oil consumption, and compression loss in rebuilt engines

The MAHLE 42077CP.040 piston ring set is the ideal choice for professional engine rebuilders and DIY mechanics performing engine overhaul work on vehicles requiring this oversize specification. Always verify bore diameter with a bore gauge before selecting an oversize ring set.
