MAHLE 50533CP.020 Original Standard Piston Ring Set 0.020 in. Oversize

The MAHLE Original 50533CP.020 is a standard replacement piston ring set ground to a +0.020 inch oversize bore specification, engineered for engine rebuild and overhaul applications. As part of the MAHLE Original line — formerly marketed under the Perfect Circle brand — this ring set is built to OE quality standards and backed by more than a century of piston ring engineering expertise.

MAHLE is the world's largest manufacturer of piston rings, and the Original line reflects their deep OE development experience. Ring materials, coatings, and tension values are all precisely matched to the intended application, delivering reliable sealing, reduced oil consumption, and minimal blowby from the first start.

Key Features:

• +0.020 in. oversize bore sizing for use with freshly bored or honed cylinders
• CP-20 oil ring assembly with a 20-degree ear angle for superior cylinder wall side sealing
• Chemically polished oil ring expander for enhanced oil drainback
• Compression rings with a barrel-faced contact area for efficient sealing and reduced blowby
• CNC-controlled gap chamfer on compression rings to optimize compression retention
• Intermediate rings feature a reverse twist design for better groove-side sealing and taper-race machined contact surfaces
• Pre-lapped rings seat immediately, virtually eliminating break-in time
• High tensile strength and high yield strength with low ring mass for minimal groove pound-out and long service life
• Optimized ring tension for low friction and extended cylinder life
