Product Details

The MAHLE 42066CP.040 is a premium engine piston ring set engineered to exacting OEM specifications. The .040 suffix denotes a +0.040-inch (1.0mm) oversize designation, making this set suitable for engines that have been bored or honed to accommodate increased cylinder dimensions during a rebuild.

MAHLE Motorsports is a globally recognized OEM supplier with decades of experience manufacturing precision engine components. Their piston ring sets are produced using high-quality materials and advanced surface treatments to deliver consistent seal integrity, reduced oil consumption, and optimized combustion efficiency.

Key Features:

  • +0.040" Oversize – Designed for cylinders bored 0.040 inches over standard for proper ring-to-wall sealing
  • OEM-Quality Materials – Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Complete Ring Set – Includes compression rings and oil control rings for all cylinders
  • Advanced Surface Coatings – Engineered for durability, wear resistance, and reduced friction
  • Precision Tolerances – Tight dimensional control ensures proper end gap and radial depth fit
  • Engine Rebuild Ready – Ideal for complete engine overhauls and performance rebuilds

MAHLE piston ring sets are a trusted choice for professional engine builders and serious DIY rebuilders seeking reliable, long-lasting performance. Always verify cylinder bore measurements and confirm correct ring end gap before final installation.

good service

Trustworthy seller. This is my second order. Got it quickly. good job!

checkout software gave me some grief first time around but finally worked ok.

Good

After searching Google Shopper for a Thule 45058 roof rack kit, I ran across Autoplicity.com was, by far, the lowest priced vendor for the product - so low that a local retailer offered to take 20% off their MSRP price but it still didn't compete with Autoplicity.com's price. Purchasing was a breeze and I look forward to receiving the rack soon.

This website purchase was by far the easiest when ordering auto parts. Most websites make you retype you make, model, and year over and over.

I like that I could use my Amazon account.

so far so good

Good. Easy to find this site on Google for my truck part.
