Prothane 12-1109 Rear Sway Bar Bushing Set Mazda Miata 1990-1997

Upgrade your Mazda Miata's handling and stability with the Prothane 12-1109 Rear Sway Bar Bushing Set. Prothane polyurethane bushings are a direct replacement for the soft, compliance-prone OEM rubber bushings that allow excess flex in the stabilizer bar — restoring and improving the sway bar's intended anti-roll performance.

Key Features:

• Polyurethane construction — significantly firmer than stock rubber for improved sway bar response and reduced body roll
• Grooved inner bore — engineered to retain Prothane's super grease lubricant, ensuring smooth, quiet operation over time
• Complete set — includes all bushings required for a full rear stabilizer bar installation
• OEM fitment — designed as a direct drop-in replacement requiring no modification
• Also compatible with larger-diameter high-performance aftermarket sway bars — versatile fitment for upgraded applications

Prothane polyurethane components are manufactured in the USA and offer superior longevity compared to stock rubber, resisting deterioration from heat, oils, and road chemicals. The 12-1109 kit is engineered specifically for the 1990–1997 Mazda Miata rear stabilizer bar and is ideal for drivers seeking improved cornering precision without sacrificing drivability.
